Ok, so I wasn't going to blog on here, but I wanted to share this.

A few days ago I was tired whilst out in my town centre, so sat down on a bench and watched people go by. It always feels like a funny thing to do in such places as everyone else is so busy! Anyhow, I started thinking about the shells people put around themselves. Not only do we choose clothes and styles to present an image, but also words, expressions, whole ways of interacting. The thing is though, that  these images are often not in line with who we really are. I think most people are afraid to say what they really think, afraid to express what they really feel, afraid to do what they really want to do...

And suddenly, I just loved everyone.

Because under these shells, everyone is nursing a heart filled with love and hurt and feeling. We all want to reach out to others, to understand the world better, to express ourselves, to feel free, but we are afraid of all the feelings that will come with this.

And I just wanted to hug everyone. To tell them it is alright. To tell them we all feel pain, and that I see them.
