Spiritual Healing
Apr. 14th, 2008 11:40 pmSo I've been going to a Healing Development Group (run by National Federation of Spiritual Healing healers) on and off for just under two years now and it's been so amazing. The people that attend are just wonderful; really kind and encouraging and totally supportive (even tho I'm only 22 - pretty young to be a healer!!!)
However I have chosen so far not to become certified. I did not see the point in it since I attend the same group as those learning to become certified attend and have received much the same help and guidance without the price tag! Up until now though I have only healed those I know, but I think it is time I took it up properly.
So, I think I'm actually gonna switch to Reiki. I could become an NFSH healer, but after talking to one of my friends who is a Reiki Master I realised that l actually wanted to learn Angelic Reiki. Coincidence (or not) has it that that very day she'd been given a leaflet and information on it and very much wants to take the course as well!
So anyhoo, I know there are a couple of people on my F-list that are Reiki healers and I just wanted to ask anyone with an opinion - what do you think the difference is between Reiki and Spiritual Healing? I've heard so many different answers to this question and am a little confused. I am essentially going towards Reiki now as I feel I have learned most of what the NFSH has to offer, and because I feel guided too, but I don't know that much about Reiki and would love to hear what others think.
Also, I'd love to hear of other peoples experiences of receiving Reiki or Spiritual Healing if you wished to share. I have had some amazing experiences, and really think one particular healing I received a couple of months back made a massive difference to my health. I love to hear other's experiences though...
